Bhai raises Anjali and fixes her marrigae with Rohit, the son of Bhai’s partner in crime and business Bhanu (Pradeep Rawat). Seenu tricks to make money with his uncle (the look alike of Bhai) by trapping Dimple (Brahmanandam), assistant of Bhai. He also acts as Rohit to impress Anjali, passes all her tests and finally wins her trust and love. And when everything is falling place, Bhai learns about Seenu and the supporters of Narasimha who are in the town to assassinate him. Learning of Seenu’s plot, Anjali rejects Seenu. Trying to convince Bhai regarding Seenu-Anjali love story, Narasimha falls prey to Bhai. In a failed attempt to rescue his uncle and his men, Seenu is seriously bruised by Bhai’s henchmen. So, how did Seenu rescue his uncle, what is the rivalry between Bhai and Narasimha, how did Seenu win Anjali and the lost glory of his uncle forms the plot of the story.

Performances:
Bellamkonda Sreenivas: Frankly, this debutante did a fabulous job! His acting skills, comic timing, fights and especially his dancing caliber and energy are impressive. Though there were initial doubts upon this producer’s son but he answered all the questions and shut all the naysaying mouths with his performance – this dude is a pakka commercial hero piece! Of course, there is always scope for improvement.

Samantha: For all those who have missed the glamorous shade of Sam, this is the film! She charms away with two things – grace and glamor. Well, the rest is a cake walk for an able actor like her. She was at her glamorous best in Neeli Neeli and Oho Bujjikonda songs.

Prakash Raj: His double action in the film is yet another highlight of the film.

Brahmanandam: Mr. Dimple is yet another hero of the film. He carries the entire second half on his shoulders.

The rest of the cast Pradeep Rawat, Ravi Babu, Raghu Babu, Bharath, Vennela Kishore, Jabardast Venu (Tillu) and others did a decent job to keep the film entertaining.

Direction:
VV Vinayak is a master at delivering sure shot commercial entertainers. A common cine-goer generally expects magic more than logic from his films. So, we are talking about a pakka commercial film loaded with dances, fights, songs, glamor, grams of sentiment and kilograms of comedy. Well in those lines, Alludu Seenu is yet another good entertainer from VV Vinayak. He extracted maximum out of the new hero and showcased his all-round performance in the film. Though he contained Samantha to just a glam show, he got the act right with entertaining performances from his lead cast. And Vinayak-Brahmi combination is always a stellar and this film just another magic of the combo.

First Half: This is segment is indeed the show reel of Bellamkonda Sreenivas. With the right blend of songs and entertaining narration, the first half runs off engagingly. The Kabaddi fight, Na Peru Silk song and Prakash Raj performance are the highlights of this segment.

Interval Bang: This is pretty much predictable but leaves the viewer with brains full of doubts to come back with pocket full popcorn.

Second Half:
This is an outright Brahmi show. Beside the ‘Dimple’ vishwaroopam’, you can enjoy some spectacular songs in this segment

Merits:

  • Lead cast performances especially Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Samantha, Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam

  • Brahmi comedy sequences especially with Prakash Raj and Sreenivas.

  • Some good music and engaging back ground score.

  • Spectacular song picturization with the exotic locales and opulent sets that stand out for their sheer grandeur and visual brilliance.

Demerits:

  • Familiar story and conventional narration.

  • An additional dose of comedy would have placed the film on different plane altogether!

Music:
This film's music by Devi Sri Prasad is already a huge hit and is a big asset to the film. His engaging back ground score adds much value to the film.

Others:
Tamannaah’s much touted item number “Na Inti Peru Silk” is a chartbuster number already. The milky beauty was usually hot and sizzling in the song. And the masses would enjoy the breath-taking moves of the hero.

Cinematography by Chota K Naidu is once top-notch. Especially the songs are lovable with the richness, entertaining choreography and beautiful locales.

Verdict:
With all the essential commercial ingredients blended close to the right proportions, Alludu Seenu is a ‘no pains-no gains’ pakka paisa vasool entertainer. You can watch the film for Seenu, Samantha and Dimple baby (oops sorry) Brahmi!
