The fate of small budget films has always been an edge-of-the-cliff story. They face tough time right from promoting their films to releasing them. Above all, if a big star’s film is on the anvil then the small budget films have no other choice except to make way for the big flick and wait till it leaves.

A similar situation is again emerging for the small films and this time the reason is Junior NTR. Well, the Young Tiger is all set to arrive with his new movie Rabhasa which is scheduled to hit the screens on August 14. Directed by Santosh Srinivas, the film is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh who has a strong clout on the theatre and distributor network.

As a result, all the small films are clustering up for a release on August 1 as they don’t want to take a chance. The list is long with films like Maaya, Adavi Kachina Vennela, Run Raja Run and few others in the fray.

Buzz is that these small budget flicks cannot take a chance to release on 8th of August because even if the film gets a good talk, they will be taken away from theatres due to Rabhasa’s arrival. Not to forget, there is also the Suriya-Samantha starrer Sikindar arriving on August 15. Let us hope everything works properly for all of them and good cinema always wins!
