Devi Sri Prasad- The name itself reverbs musical energy all over! His songs speak of versatility, melody, experimentation and loads of fun element as well. Just like the songs he composes, DSP is tremendously energetic as a person too. He can make anybody dance their wits away with his electrifying presence in any public event. His live in concerts are like high voltage musical celebrations. DSP is one successful composer who could strike the right balance between melody, and commercial aspects of film songs. He can do a massy number or a classical dance song with equal ease and masterful perfection.

>> Devi Sri Prasad is not only a great composer but a skilful mandolin player. He had early classical music training for the same under the legendary artist U.Srinivas. Perhaps that is the reason why the string section is so unique and amazing in his compositions!

>> This worthy composer worhships Maestro Ilaiyaraaja like god right from his childhood days. S.P.Balasubramanyam, the legendary playback singer once said he was surprised to see the young DSP having a closet of Ilaiyaraaja pictures in his room. DSP never misses any of Ilaiyaraaja's live in concerts as a die hard fan. Many of the DSP's melodious compositions have a faint inspiration from Maestro Ilaiyaraaja's songs as well.

>> After beginning his composing career with the mythological film Devi, DSP had a small hiatus after it. During this time he worked under Mani Sharma as a musical technician and he even sang a power packed song "Jagada Jagada" in Yuvakudu for which the latter scored music. 

>> DSP composed for a serial named "50-50" which aired on Gemini TV during the 90s. His first album is called 'Mr. Devi' which was one of its kind indipop album in Telugu.

>> It was the legendary Kamal Hassan who gave the acronym DSP for Devi Sri Prasad during his composing sessions for Dasavataram. Devi Sri Prasad worked for the background score in the film and he later collaborated with Kamal Hassan for Manmadha Baanam- a light hearted comedy.

>> Apart from Music, Devi Sri Prasad is a prolific photographer as well. He is quite passionate about it and often finds pleasure in taking brilliant photographs.

>> Devi Sri Prasad is versatile for the reason because he is interested in acting as well. His cameo appearance in the song "Ninnu Choodagane" from Pawan Kalyan starrer Attarintiki Daaredi itself speaks of his ease in front of the camera.
