Call it the new era of feminism or a sheer case of individual frustration and attitude, but there are a few women in the society who tend to get quite vocal about certain things. Right now, one senior actress is busy charging her guns towards a senior and highly respected actor. We are talking about Suchitra Krishnamurthy and Aamir Khan respectively.
Suchitra who was seen in films like Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa is quite active on Twitter and now she seems to have been offended by the new poster of Aamir’s new movie PK which shows him stark naked holding a transistor. The argument from Suchitra goes like this in a tweet- ‘How come moral brigade hasn’t objected to poster of PK? or Is it only women’s exposed bodies they have a problem with.’
She also has few other points to prove her view-
‘If scantily dressed women provoke rape as the puritanical blabber what does this image invoke? Double standards suck’
‘A woman posing naked on a poster would be deemed a slut. But a man is a hero? I'm all 4 art & freedom but what shitty double standards are these’
It now remains to be seen how Suchitra’s statements would be received by Aamir Khan and co.
