Actress Sri Divya is known for her simple and beautiful looks with the girl-next-door image in critically acclaimed film Mallela Teeram Lo Sirimalle Poovu. Her performance was appreciated by the critics as well as film connoisseurs alike. She has a natural aura associated with herself which made her an ideal choice for such films. She has been busy with few Tamil Film projects since then.
Few days ago, another actress named Divyasree was arrested on charges of prostitution and certain media misinterpreted her to be Sri Divya. To make things worse, Sri Divya's photos were shown on news channels with the accusation of prostitution.
An aghast Sri Divya clarified in a press not about the same requesting the media community not to associate her with this controversial case. She even insisted that such confusions should be avoided in future as it would tamper her image.
Sri Divya can be seen in upcoming Tamil film Jeeva paired opposite Vishnu Vishal.
