Some films tend to have the right kind of material and ammunition to blast at the box office but for some unknown reasons they get stuck. One such film is Romeo starring Sairam Shankar, brother of director Puri Jagannadh. But now, it is back on track and here is the latest tidbit on this project.
The story, screenplay and dialogues for the film are given by Puri Jagannadh while Gopi Ganesh is the director. This is produced by Touchstone Doraisamy but here is the best part. The release duty has been given to the noted director/producer Madhura Sreedhar by Puri Jagannadh.
The film is scheduled for a release in October or November. It is a very rare thing to release a small film in more than 100 theatres. Even big producers are also finding it tough these days. Looking at Madhura’s track record and his ability to release films on large scale, Puri has entrusted the task to him. Further details will be out soon.
