Victory Venkatesh who has recently tasted Success with Drishyam is making wary moves. He is just ensuring that he is picking versatile yet successful stories.

His recent remake of Malayalam Drishyam (with the same name) has earned him critical acclaim and commercial success as well. Now, Venky is all set to remake a Tamil film named Salim (starring Vijay Antony and Aksha) directed by NV Nirmal Kumar.

This slick action thriller has won critical acclaim and now Suresh Productions is planning to remake this film once Venky is done with Gopala Gopala. Right from 2009, except Namo Venkatesa and Shadow, Venky has been doing mostly remakes (Eenadu, Nagavalli, Bodyguard, Masala, Drushyam, Gopala Gopala).

Is Venky more inclined towards remakes or is he not getting suitable stories in Telugu? Well, that is for Venky to answer. Meanwhile, the fans can get ready to see him in yet another versatile role!
