This year 2014 can be regarded as a special year in Telugu cinema. From path-breaking films to phenomenal flops, this year has seen it all.

Well, all the big heroes have tried their luck on the Big screens. Some were successful at the box-office and some were not but they were all successful in one aspect – stimulating the satellite business. When all the Television channels were so passive and reluctant about buying films, this year saw a bright change in the trend.

Gemini, MAA and Zee Telugu- These three channels are the top contenders in Telugu as far as airing good films are concerned. While there has been a tough competition to three of them equally, MAA TV was more or less ahead in grabbing the rights of blockbuster films. However, it is the time of Gemini TV now!

Gemini has already aired the blockbuster film Manam on Vijayadasami day, thereby earning good viewership. It has already telecasted the blockbuster Legend recently. Now, the promos of Allu Arjun's Race Gurram would be airing in Gemini have also begun. As per our sources, they have captured the rights of other films like Drushyam, Alludu Seenu, Aagadu, Rabhasa and recently GAV.

Zee Telugu has aired Maruthi's film Lovers on Sunday evening and has even captured the rights of the horror comedy flick Geethanjali. However, MAA TV has apparently got the rights of Gopichand's recent hit Loukyam according to sources.

Besides the big screen entertainment, they would sure offer good entertainment on the small screen. We can expect these films to be aired in the upcoming festive seasons for sure!
