Churning out commercial mass entertainers is somewhat convenient because there is a set formula to it. But if you have to come out with a comedy entertainer then it takes a lot of creative juice with large sense of humor. This is one reason why many filmmakers prefer to focus mainly on commercial flicks instead of full length comedy treats.
But one director seems to be on a success streak and he is likely to score a hattrick. He is none other than G Nageshwar Reddy. Apparently, Nageshwar Reddy’s first taste of success came with the movie Seema Tapakai starring Allari Naresh. Then, he went a step higher and made Dhenikaina Ready with Manchu Vishnu.
Even that got a good response and now Nageshwar Reddy seems to have sealed the deal with his latest venture Current Theega getting positive talk. Though it has a good share of action Current Theega banks primarily on comedy and romance, so if this touches the success mark it would be a superb achievement for Nageshwar Reddy.
