Kerchief On Most Wanted Hit Film

Given the risks involved in making a film, the producers are lately concentrating on films from other industries. Whenever a film becomes a hit they are rushing to buy the remake rights. Since it is a tested subject which has proved in box office, they feel it is a safer venture to put their investment.

Now, a kerchief has fallen on the most wanted hit film from Bollywood. We are talking about the 2013 release Special 26 starring Akshay Kumar and Kajal Agarwal along with Anupam Kher. News is that senior Tamil actor Thyagarajan has bought the remake rights in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

His son Prashant who was seen in films like Jeans,Chamanti would be stepping into the shoes of Akshay Kumar while the powerhouse actor Prakash Raj would be reprising the role of Anupam Kher. Slated to be a story based on true incidents which happened during the 80s, Special 26 got huge critical acclaim and success at the box office. Let us see how the south versions will fare.
