This is the season of remakes and even an average cinegoer will tell you that South films (especially Telugu films) are the first and foremost ones to be picked by Bollywood. Heropanti (Parugu remake), Jai Ho (Stalin remake), Kick (Raviteja Kick remake) are the ones that released so far this year while Gabbar (Tagore remake), Tevar (Okkadu) & Action Jackson (Dookudu Remake) are yet to release.

Adding to the club, here is yet another magnum opus that is flying Bollywood and the most happening Bollywood star is remaking the film. According to latest reports, Shahid Kapoor has been confirmed in the Hindi remake of Ram Charan’s Magadheera. Kick fame Sajid Nadiadwala is touted to be directing this film and currently pre-production activities are under progress. Though Shahid has been on the cards for this project from a while, he has been recently confirmed. Shahid is currently busy shooting for Shaandaar movie.

This prestigious Magadheera remake shall hit the floors in early 2015. Shahid Kapoor is the right one to step in the shoes of Ram Charan but ‘Mitravinda’ character and their corresponding chemistry is the determining factor. So, who would be the Hindi ‘Mitravinda’? Any guesses?
