If you are a small budget filmmaker you would know the hassles in making a film and more than that, selling it. The situation in Tollywood is miserable because the TV channels are no longer buying the satellite rights for small budget flicks. This is considered the main recovery avenue for many small moviemakers.

At a time like this, two small films seem to have found a ray of light at the end of the tunnel. They are the recent releases Ala Ela and The End. Amidst the flood of releases that happened last Friday, these are the only two movies which stood up with some positive talk though not much business happened at the box office.

Inside talk is, the hype and buzz is the reason why offers have come from few TV channels for satellite rights to both movies. It has once again proved the point that it is ultimately content that matters. If the content is good, the buyers will come automatically. This boon for the two small films will give a lot of oxygen for the other small budget flicks.
