Though it is winter, with each passing day, the temperatures are picking up in filmnagar circles and the reason for that is preparations for the next edition of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) tournament. While the actors are doing their preparations, it appears that some major professional experience is being brought in.
Well, former Indian captain and a stalwart middle order batsman Dilip Vengsarkar has been roped in to give training to the batsmen. The likes of Nikhil, Tarun and others are undergoing some training with him. This is indeed a rare opportunity. Vengsarkar is a legendary cricketer and the game of cricket has become like a parallel life for the actors.
It started very amateurishly to help cyclone victims few years back but slowly it began picking up and it became streamlined. Then came CCL which took this game to a different league in the cine circuit. The interest picked up and seriousness also grew. As a result, you are now seeing the likes of Vengsarkar getting into the field.
