Kamal Haasan is one of the most revered actors in World Cinema today. In Kamal's illustrious career, besides his gifted talent and hardship, the priceless mentorship of his guru K Balachander cannot be ignored.

In our Indian culture, disciples offer Gurudakshinas to their respective Gurus as a token of respect and gratitude. But unfortunately time has come for a disciple like Kamal Haasan to make a dedication for his lost Guruji. Recently, the legendary director has passed away and Kamal Haasan could not pay a last visit too.

Now according to latest reports, Kamal has decided to dedicate his upcoming film Uttama Villain (produced by his banner Rajkamal International and filmmaker Lingu Swamy and directed by Ramesh Arvind) to his Guru K Balachander. Interestingly, Kamal’s Uttama Villain marks the last film to have featured the late veteran director Balachander in a pivotal role. So, Kamal wishes to make a heartfelt dedication to his Guru and this is expected to be officially announced on the audio launch day. The makers are planning to release the audio of Uttama Villain in the US very soon.

It is a known fact that Balachander was instrumental in the shaping up the career of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. So, a perfect dedication by a sincere student of Cinema to the Right Master of the Art.
