Do not be under the impression that we are talking about a cookery competition between our states and Karnataka. What we are referring to is a film which was made in both Telugu and Kannada but it appears that the Kannada version proved to be a better one than Telugu.
The man behind that is the powerhouse actor Prakash Raj and this was his directorial venture Ulavacharu Biryani which was made in Kannada as Oggarane. Though the film didn’t work at the box office despite the awesome chemistry between Prakash and the leading lady Sneha, here is a consolation.
The famous SICA (South India Cinematographer Awards) is currently on in Malaysia which is being attended by the biggies of south circuit. Prakash Raj has been chosen as the recipient for the best director award for Oggarane. That way Ulavacharu Biryani didn’t seem to have delighted the taste of the jury members. Anyways, congrats Prakash!
