You are well aware that a lot of hype is surrounding the magnum opus Rudhramadevi and in the last few weeks, the focus has shifted towards a prime character Gona Ganna Reddy in the film. The making video of Gona Ganna Reddy essayed by Allu Arjun was released recently and there is a very good response coming.

However, there are those who say the getup of Bunny is not up to our nativity and remind that this is a film being made with a lot of historical connection. Apparently, director/producer Gunasekhar has been focusing on details like their costumes and what they used to wear during the Kakatheeya era. Even historians also were consulted for the same.

At the end of the day, cinematic liberties are part of it and Allu Arjun is looking set to rock with this new avatar, this is the unanimous feedback. Though it is not sure whether it is actually how Gona Ganna Reddy was, as long as the emotion works that’s what matters more than the historical facts.

But here is another fact about Gona Ganna Reddy. During his living days, he was perceived as a thief by the people but more like Robinhood. As a result, designer Neeta Lulla came up with this look. According to the design, black is a symbol for revolt and Gona Ganna Reddy used to loot from the Samantha Rajulu and donate to poor hence the total black outfit. Well, he may not be like that originally but to carry that characterization these changes were made, as per inside sources.
