If you draw a comparative analysis between Tollywood and Kollywood you would notice that each industry has its own share of merits and there is a constant exchange which happens to balance it. In Kollywood, there is a lot of depth in the music that is composed and the lyrics penned have a strong literature in them.

Even today, many Telugu films go to Chennai for getting the live instruments and orchestration done. So, it doesn’t come as a surprise that two big guns Akkineni Nagarjuna and Ram Charan have voted for them. Well, we are talking about their films getting the music from Tamil music composers.

While ‘Kolaveri’ fame Anirudh is composing music for Charan’s My Name Is Raju . News is that Nag is getting Gopi Sunder for his new movie directed by Vamsi Paidipally. Over the years, Tamil music is coming to us in many ways. Of course, we have been used to Ilaiyaraaja, K V Mahadevan’s soulful numbers which became super duper hits from many years. But in the recent past, it has been our people like DSP, Thaman, Keeravani who were dominating. But now, the Tamil waves are coming back.
