Once you become a filmmaker, your target would be to come up with movies that can appease your local audience. A step further would take you to the neighbouring circuits and at the most you would enter Bollywood. But there are those filmmakers who are now venturing into international scenario as well.

One among them is the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma. According to the latest reports, he is planning to take his next project to the Asian audience. The title of the film is Killing Veerappan and the caption is ‘The true story behind the deadliest manhunt ever in the crime history of Asia’.

Obviously this movie would be released across the continent with sub titles and it is being made in Kannada to make the story in the original ground. Shooting is happening at places where Veerappan actually lived and roamed. Kannada actors are also roped in to bring in that authenticity.

But the treatment will be like the Hollywood movie Zero Dark Thirty. The interesting point is, Veerappan is the cruelest and most intelligent human being in forest so that would also be shown. It is heard that there would be two cuts, one for national screening and another for international screening. Get set for this!
