The culture of remakes has been on the rise in Indian cinema and it must be said that this is a smart way because the scripts are proven and there is sufficient hype beforehand. The best beneficiaries are the Bollywood who have been importing many scripts from the south.

But right now, one remake film is shaking both the north and south audiences. We are talking about the films Drishyam and Papanasam respectively. They are the Hindi and Tamil remakes of the Malayalam original Drishyam. Both the films are getting an overwhelming response for their promotions.

Many are saying that the trailers are quite innovative, the stills look very natural and earthy creating a very positive vibe among the family audiences. The Tamil version has Kamal Haasan along with Gauthami in the lead while the Hindi version has Ajay Devgan along with Shriya Saran. Get set for this one!
