To remake a highly successful film from one language to another is a common norm in Indian Cinema. It has been a tradition right from black and white era to have remakes which might even click better than the originals! Right from Devadasu till Drishyam, Tollywood has seen many remakes.

Sources say that now Bollywood is eyeing the blockbuster Dookudu to be remade in Hindi. It is said that Salman Khan was initially considered for the hero's role but the actor is not showing interest to play another cop's role once again! In fact, Salman Khan did Srinu Vaitla's Ready earlier which became a massive hit.
As of now, the remake of Dookudu in Hindi is confimed and we will have to wait and see who would reprise the role of Mahesh Babu in it!
