Yes… it is Dr. Manchu Mohan Babu! The prestigious Padma Shri award was conferred upon Mohan Babu in the year 2007 and we are also aware that the High Court directed the authorities to take back the title on allegations of misuse. Mohan Babu has appealed in the Supreme Court later and reportedly explained that the producer has credited the ‘Padma Shri’ title in the end credits without his knowledge and assured that such errors will not repeat henceforth.
The apex court today has passed an order granting permission to keep the ‘Padma Shri’ title. So, Dr. Mohan Babu is again ‘Padma Shri’ Dr. Mohan Babu now!
