As a filmmaker, it comes as a big boost when you get a little support from the state government. Kollywood has been enjoying that privilege since long because they don’t have to pay entertainment tax if the title of their movie is in Tamil. Now, a similar thing is happening in one Telugu state.

This is the Telangana state and the man to make that possible is CM KCR. He has gone ahead and given entertainment tax waiver for the latest release Rudramadevi which is actually 14% of the revenue generated. This has come as a big relief for the director cum producer Gunasekhar.

Inside news reveals KCR is expected to give the same waiver for another movie Komaram Bheem. With this, many producers are coming to the conclusion that stories related to Telangana backdrop will be given waiver so they are focusing on such subjects. As such, the Nizam are is a big market for Tollywood so it really works to come up with T-based stories.
