Akhil’s debut film Akhil was the most awaited films of this season in Tollywood and the charming Akkineni hero Akhil managed to turn the audiences towards him by his first film itself. Let’s check here how far he managed audience to visit theaters throughout the first week.
Coming to the Akhil’s collections, it minted around Rs 26 Cr (gross) and Rs 16 Cr (share) from its first five day extended weekend. And according to the trade pundits’ prediction, it may collect over Rs 28 Cr (gross) and Rs 18 Cr (share) by the end of first week from its release.
These collections come out to be quite disappointing to the whole fans of Akkineni family and despite extensive promotions, this film bailed out at box office due to its poor content. Actress Sayyesha is also quite upset with the result along with lead actor Akhil with the shocking result!
Interestingly, this movie only managed to collect slightly more than the director VV Vinayak’s remuneration of Rs 12 Cr by its first week!
