The journey from a sidekick comedian to a stunning hero is definitely not an easy one to do. While many comedians in Telugu Cinema attempted this path, they could sustain the hero image only for fewer films and then went back to their forte. But one hero is so determined to make his stardom felt that he is constantly working in every department to elevate the star appeal in him. He is none other than Sunil!
This hilarious comedian and breathtaking dancer made modest beginnings as in funny roles but made the big step by becoming a full time hero in Andala Ramudu. He then started improving his looks and fitness levels by sporting a six pack as well for one of his films Poola Rangadu next. However, he got the biggest break with S.S.Rajamouli’s Marayada Ramanna which featured him in a memorable role.
Though Sunil was featured in roles involving heroism, he was greatly admired for roles which had nonstop comedy. In the mean time, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan has been learning his lessons from the lukewarm business of Bruce Lee and planning out his career in a more rigid manner. Apart from working on Thani Oruvan’s remake as a hero, he is planning to establish a small film production house and recently he happened to get the remake rights of Tamil comedy 49O as he was mightily impressed by it.
Now, Ram Charan is considering either Sunil or Dhanraj for the lead role for this interesting flick and he wants to produce this under his White Horse productions banner. Will Sunil manage to get the chance surpassing Dhanraj? We will have to wait and see!
