Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu is an upcoming multi starrer comedy drama film starring Mohan Babu, Allari Naresh, Poorna, Ramya Krishna and Meena in lead roles. After the super success of Allari Mogudu, Mohan Babu will be seen paired with yesteryear beauties Ramya Krishna and Meena once again.Music for this film is composed by Koti, Achu and Raghu Kunche. Lyrics are penned by Srimani and Anantha Sriram respectively. This film is produced by Manchu Vishnu and directed by Srinivas Reddy. Here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:

The peppy album begins with Thalanoni Sagabhaganni – a funky number which speaks about a hero struck in between two leading ladies. This concept is quite fetching right from 90s era and the song lives up to the theme quite well. Mano does a commendable job in bringing thump for this track. Interludes have the right mass appeal.

Tingu Tingu Rangadu is a fun filled which apparently describes the nature of Allari Naresh on screen with respect to lyrics. Raghu Kunche gives the song a folk dimension and Malavika, who usually sings classy numbers tries a mass number and delivers it well. The usage of harmonium and peculiar loops add it a new commercial touch. Lyrics have a good entertaining factor along with a unique philosophy to live by.

The album slows down a little with Chamma Chakka which sustains the commercial flavor sung well by the stylish Chinmayi. Tippu and Priya Hemesh do an impressive job in supporting vocals. The jaltarang remains to be a fetching factor throughout the track. In fact, the track has a strange resemblance to 90s Tollywood folk numbers topped with modern essence.

It is time for a cool duet Ninnu Choosake Telisindhe with a strange Arabic touch in terms of tune. Sri Charan’s expressive voice gives the track a new angle. The interludes also are topped with the mystic flavor of Middle East in terms of strings, piano and mild treble. This track remains to be the undisputed highlight of the album for its attempt to bring back Oriental style.

The commercial flavor is back with Kingulanti Singamantha which justifies the film’s title and has  enjoyable moments throughout. Shiva and Sri Charan deliver this sizzling number making no mistakes! However, too many loops and layers with funny voices in between hamper the song’s pace and appeal.

The album hits a finale with Title Theme Bit with a tinge of coolness and the conversational style of presentation. However, the thumping appeal is missing in this track.

Verdict:
Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu is a fair album from the trio composers. However, the songs have little scope for experimentation or novel touches.
