Soukhyam is a fun comedy entertainer starring Gopichand and Regina Cassandra in lead roles. The film is directed by A.S.Ravi Kumar Chowdary and music is composed by Anoop Rubens. Lyrics are penned by Rama Jogayya Sastry and Here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:

The relaxing album begins with a lovely melody Naakem Tocheadhe sung brilliantly by Hariharan. The song is impressively based on Carnatic Raaga Kaanada in great style by Anoop. The digital vocals give a modern touch to this classy number laden with carnatic violin and trendy beats. The interludes are phenomenally laid with fusion extravaganza.  Poetic lyrics by Rama Jogayya Sastry deserve a unique mention.

You are my Honey is a typical Anoop composition with folk beats fused with modern sounding. The latest singing sensation Nakash Aziz does a great job along with Mohana Bhogaraju for this composition. The rhythm section is quite trendy and fun loving along with peppy humming. Bhaskarabhatla does a neat job in penning out contemporary lyrics.

The funky mood continues with Alare Aala with silky vocals by Rahul Pandey and Manisha Earabathini. The song has fancy lyrics penned by Rama Jogayya Sastry and a catchy tune as well. Watch out for the perfect strings and mellowed electric guitar touches throughout the composition. The track will sure win over hearts for its lovely presentation.

Jigi Jigi Jindagi is an inspirational number with gripping guitars, live drumming and peculiar vocals of Raman. Lyrics by Rama Jogayya Sastry speak about philosophy of life in pretty simple yet effective terms. The interludes have decent mixing and modern sounds which would appeal well to the youth.

The album hits a finale with Lollipop having all the characteristics of a perfect item song. It is almost a cakewalk for Geeta Madhuri to sing a song of this sort and she pulls it off with great confidence. The song has ample scope for improvisation with rhythm and loads of fun. Anoop makes no mistakes in doing so! However , the overall presentation has strange resemblance with Mera Naam Mary from Bollywood movie Brothers.

Verdict:
Soukyam is a cool album and marks another good one from the combo of Gopichand- Anoop Rubens after blockbuster Loukyam.
