The brilliant album begins with Follow Follow which has already been a rage for its promo appearance. Jr.NTR himself sang this fun song penned by DSP and makes it even more enjoyable to hear. The song is all equipped with urban trendiness and impressive rhythm section. This song sets the perfect stage for an entertaining show altogether!
Na Manasu Neelo is a stylish solo from the energetic vocals of DSP and supported aptly by humming from Sharmela. Bhaskarabhatla’s poetic lyrics add a great layer of feel good nature to this fun song. The interludes are jazzy and have the typical flavor of DSP’s experimentation.
DSP chooses to get Raghu Dixit once again in the track who gave him a brilliant hit with Jaago in Srimanthudu for this optimistic number Don’t Stop. It is primarily a Hard Rock style composition with inspiring and thought provoking lyrics by Chandrabose. However, the real star of the song is Raghu Dixit because of his thunderous voice!
It is now time for a sentimental and introspective solo Love Me Again sung mesmerizingly by Sooraj Santhosh. The meditative beats make it an ideal road trip song and it adds to another set of jewels produced by Sukumar and DSP till date! A true winner altogether!
Just when we wonder where is the commercial mass touch for this album,we get to hear Love Debba which stuns the listener through and through. It is an Arabic styled composition with rustic beats but the entire song has a fresh feel associated towards it. Chandrabose chooses to write lyrics on contemporary trends such as Ice Bucket Challenge as well which is highly entertaining!
Verdict:
Nannaku Prematho is another winner from the successful and inquisitive combination of Sukumar- DSP. It will definitely add to the list Jr.NTR’s best albums in his career!
