NTR’s 25th film Nannaku Prematho movie opened to full houses on the 13th of this January as a much awaited Sankranthi gift for fans. Interestingly NP bagged a divided talk right from day one.
However, at the end of its first week at the box office, Nannaku Prematho is estimated to have collected Rs 42Cr share worldwide. Nannaku Prematho first week collections across the two Telugu states are estimated to be Rs 28 Cr. However Nannaku Prematho was made on a budget of about Rs 54 Cr (including promotions) and currently trade analysts predict that it is Rs 12 Cr away from reaching the breakeven point. On the other hand, it is getting an overwhelming response in overseas. Early estimates reveal that Nannaku Prematho has already zoomed into the 1.5M USD Club at the US box office.
Well Jr NTR’s stamina has really worked at the box office in pulling the crowds for the film. NP is already a Rs 40Cr film but will it be a hit finally? Trade pundits say it is not yet. Let’s wish this unique film joins the Hit List of 2016!
