The phrase ‘giving the chair’ usually refers to quitting from a particular post and giving it to someone else. This is usually used in political and job oriented spheres. But what we are talking about is something literal and this has happened in Tollywood circuit.
Well, we are talking about a chair. Apparently, the Bollywood actor Boman Irani made his debut in Tollywood with the film Attarintiki Daredi and in that he is seen as someone restricted to a wheelchair with sophisticated features.
Now, ‘King’ Akkineni Nagarjuna would be seen in a chair throughout a film and that is Oopiri. Those who saw the stills and trailer of the film are saying it appears that Boman Irani has given his chair to Nag. This is being said in a lighter vein but yes it does look like that.
