Vamsi Paidipally is one of the most promising young directors in TFI now. He came from Dil Raju’s school and has super hits like Brundavanam & Yevadu to his credit.
But surprisingly, he has earned the name of a good ‘remake director’. His Yevadu allegedly had influences of English film Face/Off and his forthcoming film Oopiri is the official adaptation of French film The Intouchables. Well Nag & Karthi has already showered praises on Vamsi for adapting this film exceptionally well.
And now Nagarjuna apparently wants to rope in Vamsi to direct Akhil’s 2nd film which happens to be the official remake of Hindi blockbuster Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani remake (yet to be announced). Well, Vamsi is the best pick for such a project but if this materializes, Vamsi shall be termed the ‘Best Remake director’ in town.
