"Veedu Aaradugula Bullettuu.. Veedu Dhairyam Visirina Rockettu.." Guess you have got the film and lyricist by now! Yes we are talking about young lyricist Srimani. He shot to fame with this blockbuster song in Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi.
He is one of the most sought after lyricists in Tollywood and interestingly for “Dubbing Films” too. From a long while, legendary lyricist Vennelakanti and his son Shashank Vennelakanti have been the frontrunners in this segment. Now slowly Srimani has been filling the gap and recently he turned a single card lyricist for Pencil (starring composer GV Prakash and Sridivya in the lead) that is going to release on the 14th of April in Tamil & Telugu.
Not just dubbing films but Srimani has been penning hit numbers in Telugu as well. It is indeed a rare and tough feat by a lyricist writing songs in two languages simultaneously and Srimani is quite successful in striking the right chord and balance.
Hope youthful entertainer Pencil does well at the box office, giving a breakthrough to GV Prakash Kumar and Sri Mani.
