Among the many things that define our culture and identity, the surname holds a lot of importance. No matter what happens, any individual would not be willing to let go of his surname. But there are times when your work ends up giving you a new surname. This happens more in cinema.
For instance, everyone knows the comedy star Naresh as Allari Naresh owing to his movie Allari. Now, another person is getting a surname change. He is none other than the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma. Apparently, his real surname is Penmetsa but now that seems to be changing.
This is from the time RGV announced his movie Vangaveeti. Wherever the film is being taken it is being attached to Ram Gopal Varma and they are saying Ram Gopal Varma Vangaveeti. So, one glance would suggest as if his surname has changed to Vangaveeti. Strangely funny!
