The youngest Akkineni hero Akhil planned a dream debut for himself with the launch film Akhil directed by VV Vinayak. Everything was so perfectly planned for the film right from the marketing strategies to the audio release event. But when the big day of release occurred, the film bombed at the Box Office.
The main reason for this result was apparently the storyline which was too edged away from the regular masala entertainers. Moreover, the film’s budget exceeded the initial plan which led to even more trouble for Vinayak as well the producer Nithiin. Right from then,Akhil has been quite wary to accept new films as it would decide his fate as an actor in Tollywood.
Apparently, Akhil was willing to work with Vamsi Paidipally for his next film but had his doubts on whether the director can score a thumping hit. With the director’s latest offering Oopiri gaining instant positive talk all over, the actor has given the nod to work with Vamsi next!
Let us hope Vamsi would pull off a memorable hit for Akhil this time!
