It is a well known fact that Murali Mohan, distributor and head of Jayabheri Productions filed a petition in High Court against D Suresh Babu saying that the latter is in debt with film chamber and he is not qualified to stand in politics.
The City Civil court looked into this petition and restricted Suresh Babu not to continue as the film chamber’s head. Suresh Babu filed a reverse petition saying that he doesn’t have any debts with film chamber and it is unfair to stop him from contesting in elections.
As a result, the High court has given a stay order for Suresh Babu on Civil Court's Judgement now. This must be a great whiff of relief for the producer who has been facing a tough time with legal troubles for quite some time now.
