Baahubali: The Beginning is a colossal hit across the globe and even a National awardee in India but looks like the German audience have not given a damn!
The Duestche dubbed version of Baahubali titled Ich Bin Baahubali has released on April 28 in over 30 screens across Germany and the first week response so far has been just “luke warm”. The film has reportedly collected just Rs 3.2 lakhs (€4200) in the first week, according to trade estimates.
Baahubali made it big in US, UK & UAE markets. Moreover Indian films like The Lunch Box, Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, Bajirao Mastani & others have considerably done well in Germany. So it was naturally expected to continue its success streak in the German market as well. But looks like Baahubali storm has weakened in the German land! The makers are now eagerly looking forward to the Japan release very soon.
