There are no two words when we say Tollywood happens to be a very strong and upgraded industry in terms of production standards, budgets, technology and many other aspects. However, fact remains that the Tollywood heroes have failed to use this to their advantage and lack wide presence.
Today, even a good Tamil movie works very well in Telugu states but the question being raised is, why can't our Telugu star heroes repeat something similar in other states. Focus is also building on where they need to improve. Different viewpoints are coming up in this regard.
Some say it is because of lack of crossover appeal and some plainly put it as lack of confidence. Some are also attributing it to insufficient promotion of the film in those states. Whatever the reasons may be, the end of the day truth remains that Telugu heroes have a long way to go to prove their mettle in non-local territories.
