If you are a diehard mega fan then you would have been nostalgic recently because the film Gang Leader featuring megastar Chiranjeevi and lady Amitabh Vijayashanti completed 25 years of its release. As part of that, even Chiru shared his thoughts and expressed a desire.
He reportedly mentioned that the film can be remade and if it happens, his son mega powerstar Ram Charan should do it. But some analysts and film intellectuals differ with this desire. They say “Movies that were super duper hit in the past have never worked in remake mode.”
They add “Maybe the same title can be used but the story must be different.” While that may be so, it is possible that the remake script might be tuned as per today’s tastes. Let us wish the remake of Gang Leader happens and it breaks the jinx.
