The film industry is a male dominated bastion and in that, the segment of directors is completely ruled by the men. But in the last few years, few lady directors are attempting to make their presence felt and the pioneer among them especially in Tollywood is B Jaya.
She has been part of the Tollywood directors circuit since the past thirteen years and has come out with five directorial ventures. Notable among them is Lovely featuring Lovely Rocking Star Aadi. Now, Jaya is all set to arrive with yet another venture for this summer and it is titled as Vaisakham.
Slated to be an entertaining and youthful romantic treat, the film marks the debut of Harish as the hero while Avantika Mishra of Maaya fame is the leading lady. The song stills were released recently and they are getting a very good response from all genres of audience. Audio launch will happen soon.
