They say “Beauty is not in the face, beauty is a light in the heart” and ace heroine Kajal Aggarwal is indeed a personification of this. Here is yet another big proof that she’s just not a beauty with brain but indeed a good heart too.
Going into the story, Kajal has pledged to donate her beautiful eyes. Kajal plays the role of a visually challenged girl in her forthcoming Hindi release Do Lafzon Ki Kahani and she has travelled with few visually impaired students to get act authentic. It was these students who inspired her to take this decision of donating eyes. Her co-star Randeep Hooda has also announced his decision to donate eyes as a part of the film promotions.
"Randeep and I feel strongly towards this cause as eyes are one of the most important sensory organs in the human body since they render vision. There should be widespread awareness programmes and activities to impart the significance of eye donation and its usefulness for visually- impaired people. Medical researchers and scientists are working on developing artificial cornea, but till that happens, donating your eyes would be the best gift ever for a person suffering from corneal blindness” says Kajal talking to a national daily.
