The master storyteller and sensational director Dasari Narayana Rao is not only known for strong characterizations on screen but also for his shocking statements and opinions on happenings off the screen. The director attended MAA Association special event to felicitate legendary actor Kaikala Satyanarayana and yesteryear beauty queen Jamuna and during the felicitation, he made some sensational statements. Dasari said that awards these days have lost their value because even government awards such as Padma Shri are given to unknown folks and some awards are even bought for money!
Dasari appreciated the initiative of MAA for selecting Kaikala and Jamuna for such prestigious honor and their efforts to recognize their worth.
