On the other hand, Lakshmi is also moving close to the common man with her TV show.
On this note, industry onlookers are wondering if there is a political strategy behind her choice of films and shows. We know she is interested in politics and there were rumors in the past that few political parties also approached her to campaign in the 2014 elections. Well her father Dr. Mohan Babu is also an ex-MP (Rajya Sabha) who recently made sensational comments on the current political scenario hinting that he might be back anytime.
However, sources close to the Manchu family say that it is just a sheer coincidence that Lakshmi is doing such projects. Anyways time will decide!
