Tollywood began its tenure by focusing more on rural based films right from the black and white era but this trend slowly edged towards urbane and youthful films later. However, many films in the recent times such as Soggade Chinni Nayana and A Aa are going towards rural area based stories.
It is a well known fact that Cherry has given nod for logical director Sukumar for his upcoming film after his action packed project Dhruva. When a director like Sukumar teams up with high voltage hero like Cherry, we would expect a love story or an intelligent thriller but sources say it is neither!
Apparently, this project would be based on village backdrop. Ram Charan did try out such film Govindudu Andari Vadele earlier with Krishna Vamsi but it couldn’t impress the audience. Let us hope Cherry becomes fortunate this time by scoring a hit in this genre!
