Srirasthu Subhamastu is an upcoming romantic entertainer starring Allu Sirish and Lavanya Tripathi in lead roles. Music for the film is composed by SS Thaman. Here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:

The offbeat album begins in a trance mode with title track Srirasthu Subhamastu sung by Krishna Chaitanya and penned impressively by Ananth Sriram. The auspicious feel of the composition is evident throughout its progress with great poise and perfection. The trance feel gives it a novel look and trendy appearance as well. Watch out for the mandolin solo which gives it a classical touch as well.

Anu Anu is a jazzy number which has the makings of AR Rahman’s popular number Yaadike from Kadali. Revanth gives the song a peppy ambience and the piano touches are riveting. The trance feel is retained in this number as well with Hip-Hop beats. Srimani’s lyrics are poetically modern.

The album hits an abrupt finale with a relaxing number Desi Girl based on Raaga Suddha Dhanyasi and it is reflected in the lyrics as well. The song suddenly transfers to mass mode with fun filled rhythm section and Bhaskarabhatla does a good job for this contrasting song. ‘

Verdict: Srirasthu Subhamastu is an impressive album where Thaman goes off the mark with laid back numbers instead of regular masala numbers.
