The pre release business has been phenomenal and it is clear that the buyers are in for a big loss. However, the satellite aspect is being considered as safe. It is heard that the Telugu satellite rights of Kabali were taken for a whopping 8 crores.
Despite that humongous figure, the trade analysts say this would be recovered. Apparently, it all boils down to the number of times the film is telecast within an year in the TV channel which has purchased it. They are positive that this recovery can be done easily.
