The small film wonder Maruthi has been on a roll right from his first experimental fare Ee Rojullo with minimal budget and completely new actors. He is a master storyteller who knows the pulse of youngsters and current pressing problems in the society. However, he also had the name of catering to cheap comedy and second rate characterizations portraying vulgarity.
But the director came out of this league by delivering a clean comedy entertainer Bhale Bhale Magadivoy with Nani and Lavanya Tripathi in lead roles. He has now teamed up with Victory Venkatesh for an action comedy Babu Bangaram. Just when everyone thought he would now be doing films with big heroes alone, his next project has been announced with prestigious production house UV creations.
Coming to the hero of the flick, it is the youngster Havish Babu who happened to act in Omkar’s Genius. Let us hope Maruthi gives much needed break to this star who is yet to make a good mark in the film industry!
