“Boiling star Babloo” aka “30yrs Industry” Prudhvi Raj is the most happening comedian in the tinsel town today. Nonetheless to say he is too good with his performances and sometimes he can be a key or even the only asset of the film. However, his performance in Sunil’s latest release Jakkanna movie hasn’t gone well with Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna’s fans.
Prudhvi plays the role of a Circle Inspector named ‘Katakatala Kattappa’ in Jakkanna movie and his character is a dynamic one with dialogues and mannerisms imitating Balayya. It was one of the key entertaining characters that actually saved the film from being a disaster. Well a section of Balayya fans who found his performance offending have expressed their displeasure and Prudhvi apparently received threat calls from few demanding an apology. Alarmed Prudhvi took it his official Facebook page and offered an explanation and apology through a video.
Well Prudhvi is exceptional at imitating Balayya and the superstar (NBK) himself wouldn’t mind such trivial performances. And until unless it is a defamatory or personally targeted act, spoofs and imitations in films/skits are quite common that don't call for an intimidating feedback. But let us see if the upset fans accept his apology or not!
