For a long time, Indian cinema stayed away from the franchisee format which is a major success in the Hollywood market. You come across many movies in English that keep coming up with several parts and generations will change but the characters remain intact.
However, few filmmakers in India also decided to show what they can do and one such person is Rajkumar Hirani. He shot to celebrity status with his Munnabhai series and so far two editions came out. The same were remade into Telugu as well with megastar Chiranjeevi.
Now, the good news is groundwork is happening for the third edition of Munnabhai. Reports from Mumbai reveal for a long time, Rajkumar was stuck without proper story and now he has managed to crack it. Well, it is going to be a delight for the audience to see Munnabhai aka Sanjay Dutt and Circuit back onscreen.
