When you see a gathering of intellectuals and scholars, you will notice that Goddess Saraswathi would be dancing there with joy because there is a lot of intelligence, wisdom, knowledge that keeps overflowing. Something like that happened last evening in Hyderabad.

The Tiranga Yatra is currently being celebrated on the eve of India achieving 70 years of independence. The venue was the Marriott hotel convention center and this was attended by the likes of Venkaiah Naidu, Sujana Chowdary, Murali Mohan, Dr Ghazal Srinivas, J K Bharavi, Tanikella Bharani, Sira Sri, Kavi Yakub, singer Gangadhar and others.

As part of that, Tanikella wrote a poem and he rendered it with his style of pause and modulation. The audience received it with claps and praises. Here is a look at the poem-

"maa ammaki debbai yellu
 manushulaki vaste vaardhakyam
 desaaniki vasthe saardhakyam

 debbai yella paduchu pilla
 edu padula baalika
 bharatambaku minchinatti
 talli ledu..ledika

 maa maataku kaashaayam
 sindhoorapu bottu
 aakupachcha polaalalo
 aame chemata bottu

 tellati jendaa nettite
 saanti aata pattu
 kannulerra chesindaa
 andaraata kattu!!"
