The way how social media and media houses work is quite interesting and intriguing. The more we observe, many new observations come in mind. Here is one incident which featured anchor Ravi who is doing a show called Pataas in MAA TV along with Sreemukhi. This anchor is quite energetic in small screen arena and also takes time to reply to fans personally in his social media account.
The anchor kept a recent post which was quite indirect as it asked the fans to give a solution to his problem which has been troubling him for quite a while. A particular comment said that the anchor should stop his double meaning dialogues and vulgar dance moves along with Sreemukhi in Pataas show.
The poised anchor didn’t lose his cool on him. He coolly said that-“and yet you watch our show and it is the reason for my success!”. This one line says a lot about the makings of media. Is media offering what the audience wants to see or is it the other way around? If the audience reject a show straightaway for its bad content, will it bring change in the producers? – this is quite a debatable point!
