Today, Young Rebel Star Prabhas completes 14 successful years in the film industry. On this eve, here are few lesser known interesting facts about Prabhas and his career:  Not only India, this handsome hunk has a huge fan following in Germany as well. And thanking them, Prabhas even did a video in German language which has gone viral all over Germany.

Despite hailing from Rebel Star Krishnam Raju’s family, Prabhas did not inherit stardom. His career started off with commercial flops like Eeshwar & Raghavendra.
Varsham that was released in 2003 was the first big hit for Prabhas and something interesting happened later.

This young hero had a hit after every 2-3 flops. For instance - after Varsham, Adavi Ramudu & Chakram were duds. Chatrapati was a hit followed by flops Pournami, Yogi, Munna. After Bujjjigadu , Billa, Ek Niranjan were also flop. And then Rajamouli’s Chatrapati came which turned out to be the second blockbuster in Prabhas’ career. And Chatrapati was the film that earned him a huge mass following. He has two consecutive hits twice in his entire career– Darling- Mr Perfect, Mirchi-Baahubali.

Talking about Prabhas, one cannot ignore Bujjigadu in which Prabhas nails the titular role with his accent, dynamism and timing. His popular “darling” mannerism was also popularized with the same film – thanks to Puri Jagannadh.

Prabhas is the first South Indian actor to have his statue at Madamme Tussauds, Bangkok. His recent work in Baahubali: The Beginning, the epic Indian historical film directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni was widely appreciated.

Looking forward to Baahubali: The Conclusion which clears all the questions like 'Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?' left by Baahubali: The Beginning!

Wishing him all the luck for Baahubali 2 and many more years in the industry!
